Before Waxing:

To make your experience more comfortable, take an Ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment. This will reduce pain and irritation. If you are very sensitive, come in 10 minutes early and you can apply a numbing spray on your skin.

After Waxing:

A light oil will remove any residual wax remaining on the skin. Apply ice or a clean, cool, damp cloth to any areas that are particularly irritated and apply aloe vera liberally.

Ingrowns:

To reduce the chance of ingrown hairs, gently exfoliate daily. This gets rid of dead skin cells and prevents new hairs from getting stuck under the skin. You can also apply an ingrown exfoliating lotion or cream there are many such as tenskin, B & C skin tight, and BFB or any acne spot treatment.

In The Worse Case:

Waxing may cause bruises, scabs, redness, hyper-pigmentation or pimples. Waxing of soft tissue may cause skin to tare resulting in the need for stitches, most common in brazilian waxing.
